A slow sink, if it is the only one, is often hair and soap in the trap. A plunger. Then a bucket, the trap, a clean. No caustic soda as a first move: it attacks unions and skin, it does not “dissolve the stack”.
A cracked trap is replaced, measuring Ø32/40 and the outlet. An air gun only with an intact trap, one waste, no thin glass.
If several fixtures smell, or you are on the ground floor, it is the stack. Not a catalogue.
What to do now (€ 0)
- 1–2 L of water in the bidet, shower, washing machine, basin. Trap seals if they sit empty for days.

Household moves, not a building site. A stick and a deodoriser do not fill a dry trap and do not repair the sewer.
