How to choose an aerator or a hose
Measure the thread first (M22/M24/M28). No cartridge without a model.
How to choose
The thread is measured, not guessed: male or female, M22, M24 or M28. Without that reading an aerator is a random part. A crooked jet is handled on a weak jet and the aerator.
A drop from the spout, with the tap shut, is not fixed with a screen or with PTFE on the jet. It is the dripping tap: the cartridge or washer for that model, not a pack of aerators.
A hose is bought with the length and the ends written down. Swollen, or with a torn braid, it is replaced, not wrapped. If the water comes from the wall, no pipe on this list will stop it: a wet hose.
Do not buy if the jet is weak through the whole home: that is pressure or the system, not ten screens. PTFE tape, when it belongs, goes on the male thread at refitting, never on gas and never on the spout.
Minimal DIY
Household moves, not a building site. A stick and a deodoriser do not fill a dry trap and do not repair the sewer.
