Third-party advertising cookies

Google AdSense may set cookies and similar technologies. Personalised ads appear only with consent given in the consent message (Google’s certified CMP, IAB TCF), shown to users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Without consent to personalisation, non-personalised ads may appear (contextual ads, which still need cookie consent) or “limited ads”, which do not use personal data for personalisation. The IP address is still used to deliver the ad, and tools may be used to detect fraud and invalid traffic.

Statistics: Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 measures visits, only after consent in Google’s message. Without consent, statistics cookies are not set. The data is handled by Google.

Managing consent

The consent message is Google’s certified CMP. The choices are “Consent”, “Do not consent” and “Manage options”. The choice is remembered. You change it from “Privacy and cookie settings” in the footer. If you refuse, you still read the whole site: content is not blocked.
