Wet laundry is a vapour source, not a smell. In a sealed winter flat it can push RH above 65% and wet the glass.

  • Dry where you can open a window: not in a sealed bedroom.
  • Log RH on laundry day and the day after.
  • If you always dry indoors, dehumidifier sizing must include it — an estimate, not a model to copy.

Is a dehumidifier next to the rack enough?+

It helps if RH climbs and the room is shut. A room with a window and purge ventilation, or a vented dryer, is cleaner.
